First Blog Entry--Woohoo!!
Welcome to Suzibella!!
I am very excited to be writing my first blog entry. The past year has been incredible-- maybe that’s why I am just getting the time to write this???! Here’s the highlights—and hopefully you will be so intrigued for the details that you will check back often to get the full scoop!!
What a whirlwind!! You now how fast the baby’s first year seems to fly by—well I feel like this was one of those years. 2007 started with the birth of the Nappi Sak. Hmmm… there is some correlation here, huh?
We made our first trip to Tinseltown to attend the Boom Boom Room, a Golden Globe event hosted by fashion guru Jayneoni. That led to our invitation to attend the Image Awards, which was uber cool. Now I have to admit, I’ve always been a little starstruck. But when you actually get to talk to the celebrities, it is totally amazing. How? Well you’re just gonna have to keep checking back for all those juicy little details about meeting your favorite celebs like Vanessa Williams, Jennifer Hudson, LL Cool J, America Ferrara, Mary J Blige, and many others.

Being with these A-listers was amazing. Having them swoon after my brand new product, the Nappi Sak by Suzibella “for when all you need are a few diapers and wipes…” was dizzying.
Then it was back to good ole Kennett Square, PA (do you know it is the mushroom capital of the world? Smells REAL good here…) and back to work. In late summer, I partnered with other “Momtrepreneurs” and founded our very own wholesale showroom in Atlanta called “Mama Mia”. All the companies represented in the showroom are Mommy-owned--hence the name. How cool—and estrogen filled—is that?
In September I made my first trek to Vegas for the ABC Childrens Show and when I got back—literally hours later—got the shock of my life. What was it? You’ll have to keep following the SuzBlog to find out (kind of like “After the commercial break….but you don’t have to watch the commercials—just wait til I get inspired to write again!!)
This amazing year ended with some headaches, but if it was always celebrities and Vegas, it wouldn’t be called work now would it?? As I start 2008, I am grateful for the success of my products. The continually popular Keepsake Box, and the hip, stylish Nappi Sak Diaper Purse are so well received by my customers. But as every entrepreneur knows, it is hard to sit still. So yes, I have another product up my sleeve. My goal is to launch it at the Gift Shows this summer. I can’t wait to share it with you, as I think it will knock your socks off. So keep reading—I hope I will entertain you but also give you some tips that I have learned about business and life. Some learned the hard way, some the easy way, and some just fell into my lap.
